"CORK" Program Fact Sheet

What is CORK?

CORK (Canandaigua On-premise Resource and Knowledge) is the tool that on-premise operators need to educate and motivate servers to offer and sell more wine. Designed to help servers be more comfortable with wine service and sales, CORK shows waitstaff how to enhance the customer's wine experience. By providing valuable information on how to sell and serve wine, servers will gain confidence about wine service, buoying wine sales for restaurateurs.

What materials are included in the CORK kit?

Training Booklet

Wine service has become an important part of the dining experience. An easy-to-read training booklet will help servers:

CD-ROM Version

Since many on-premise establishments have educational stations for servers, both the training text and video are provided on CD-ROM.

Waitstaff Pocket Reference Cards

Easy-to-use pocket reference cards are provided as an educational tool to help waitstaff understand the basics of wine service and sales.
