Inglenook Vineyards Teams Up With Southern California City of Hope To Fund Breast Cancer Research

CONCORD, CA, October 29, 2002 – As part of its national breast cancer awareness campaign, Inglenook Vineyards teamed up with the Southern California Food Industries Circle for City of Hope during National Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, 2002. Inglenook plans to donate a portion of October sales – up to $25,000 – to fund the important breast cancer research being performed at the City of hope Cancer Center in Duarte, California.

“City of Hope is truly making a difference and Inglenook is proud to partner with them to help find a cure for breast cancer,” said Bob Alfera, the Southern California Regional Manager for Inglenook. “This effort was driven by our desire to give back to the communities we do business in.” Participating member stores of the Southern California Food Industries Circle for City of  Hope supported the Inglenook breast cancer campaign by promoting the program with in-store displays.
