Canandaigua Wine Appoints Northeast Premium Wine Specialist

Canandaigua, NY – May 23, 2002 -- Canandaigua Wine, a division of Constellation Brands, Inc., announces the appointment of Mark Cervellero as Premium Wine Specialist for the Northeast U.S. He will be responsible for supporting and building sales of Canandaigua Wine's premium and import wines in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and Vermont.

Mark joins Canandaigua Wine's Premium Wine Specialist team, which was established by the company in October 2001. In this capacity, he will report to Director of Premium Wine Specialists John Blesse. Canandaigua Wine's Premium Wine Specialists work closely with the company's sales force and district managers to promote the fast-growing Australian import Alice White and premium wine brands Columbia, Covey Run, Dunnewood and its reserve tier Dunnewood Signature, Paul Thomas, Ste. Chapelle and Talus.

A graduate of Penn State, Mark holds a Bachelors of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Institutional Management and has more than four years of professional experience in the wine and beverage industry. Most recently, he worked as Global Sales Manager for Worldwinetrade.com. Prior to that position, Mark served as National Sales Manager for Belden International, an international wine importing company. Mark began his career as a Restaurant Manager at the Ritz Carlton, gaining valuable experience in premium wine sales, management and customer service.

Organized by geographic region, Canandaigua Wine's Premium Wine Specialists offer education and training to the company's sales force and help identify new opportunities for the premium and import wine portfolio to increase sales and profits. In cooperation with the sales force, they will work to more effectively position the company’s premium and import wines among key industry partners, including restaurateurs, retailers and distributors.
